What is CVE-2012-0841?
CVE-2012-0841 is a medium-severity denial of service vulnerability in Apple Iphone Os, published on 21 Dec 2012. An attacker can exploit it over the internet without logging in, with no action from the victim.
Official description
libxml2 before 2.8.0 computes hash values without restricting the ability to trigger hash collisions predictably, which allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via crafted XML data.
