## What is CVE-2019-10655?

CVE-2019-10655 is a critical command injection vulnerability in n/a, published on 30 Mar 2019. An attacker can exploit it over the internet without logging in, with no action from the victim.

### Official description

Grandstream GAC2500 1.0.3.35, GXP2200 1.0.3.27, GVC3202 1.0.3.51, GXV3275 before 1.0.3.219 Beta, and GXV3240 before 1.0.3.219 Beta devices allow unauthenticated remote code execution via shell metacharacters in a /manager?action=getlogcat priority field, in conjunction with a buffer overflow (via the phonecookie cookie) to overwrite a data structure and consequently bypass authentication. This can be exploited remotely or via CSRF because the cookie can be placed in an Accept HTTP header in an XMLHttpRequest call to lighttpd.

Weakness: CWE-78 (Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command), CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery), CWE-119 (Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer)

```text
Check this codebase for CVE-2019-10655 and fix it if it is affected.
What it is: CVE-2019-10655 is a critical command injection vulnerability in n/a, published on 30 Mar 2019. An attacker can exploit it over the internet without logging in, with no action from the victim.
Exploitation: It is not confirmed as exploited in the wild, but public exploit code for CVE-2019-10655 exists.
Affected product: n/a. No package-level version data is available, so check the vendor advisory linked from the reference page.
Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.
5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.
