## What is CVE-2020-1728?

CVE-2020-1728 is a medium-severity vulnerability in Redhat Keycloak, published on 6 Apr 2020. An attacker can exploit it over the internet without logging in, with no action from the victim.

### Official description

A vulnerability was found in all versions of Keycloak where, the pages on the Admin Console area of the application are completely missing general HTTP security headers in HTTP-responses. This does not directly lead to a security issue, yet it might aid attackers in their efforts to exploit other problems. The flaws unnecessarily make the servers more prone to Clickjacking, channel downgrade attacks and other similar client-based attack vectors.

Weakness: CWE-1021 (Improper Restriction of Rendered UI Layers or Frames), CWE-358 (Improperly Implemented Security Check for Standard)

Check this codebase for CVE-2020-1728 and fix it if it is affected.

What it is: CVE-2020-1728 is a medium-severity vulnerability in Redhat Keycloak, published on 6 Apr 2020. An attacker can exploit it over the internet without logging in, with no action from the victim.
Exploitation: There is no known exploitation of CVE-2020-1728 in the wild and no public exploit code.

Affected packages and fixed versions:
- org.keycloak:keycloak-core (Maven): affected all versions up to 9.0.3; no fix listed
- org.keycloak:keycloak-core (Maven): affected all versions up to 9.0.3; no fix listed

Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.
5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.
