## What is CVE-2023-51455?

CVE-2023-51455 is a medium-severity memory corruption vulnerability in DJI Matrice 300, published on 2 Apr 2024. It can only be exploited from the same machine or local network, and only if a user opens a file or follows a link.

### Official description

A Improper Validation of Array Index issue affecting the v2_sdk_service running on a set of DJI drone devices on the port 10000 could allow an attacker to corrupt a controlled memory location due to a missing input validation in the on_receive_session_packet_ack function implemented in the libv2_sdk.so library used by the dji_vtwo_sdk binary implementing the service, potentially leading to a memory information leak or to an arbitrary code execution. Affected models are Mavic 3 Pro until v01.01.0300, Mavic 3 until v01.00.1200, Mavic 3 Classic until v01.00.0500, Mavic 3 Enterprise until v07.01.10.03, Matrice 300 until v57.00.01.00, Matrice M30 until v07.01.0022 and Mini 3 Pro until v01.00.0620.

Weakness: CWE-129 (Improper Validation of Array Index)

Check this codebase for CVE-2023-51455 and fix it if it is affected.

What it is: CVE-2023-51455 is a medium-severity memory corruption vulnerability in DJI Matrice 300, published on 2 Apr 2024. It can only be exploited from the same machine or local network, and only if a user opens a file or follows a link.
Exploitation: There is no known exploitation of CVE-2023-51455 in the wild and no public exploit code.

Affected product: DJI Matrice 300. No package-level version data is available, so check the vendor advisory linked from the reference page.

Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.
5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.
