## What is CVE-2025-0188?

CVE-2025-0188 is a medium-severity server-side request forgery vulnerability in gaizhenbiao/chuanhuchatgpt, published on 20 Mar 2025. Any signed-in user can exploit it over the network, with no action from the victim.

### Official description

A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was discovered in gaizhenbiao/chuanhuchatgpt version 20240914. The vulnerability allows an attacker to construct a response link by saving the response in a folder named after the SHA-1 hash of the target URL. This enables the attacker to access the response directly, potentially leading to unauthorized access to internal systems, data theft, service disruption, or further attacks such as port scanning and accessing metadata endpoints.

Weakness: CWE-918 (Server-Side Request Forgery)

Check this codebase for CVE-2025-0188 and fix it if it is affected.

What it is: CVE-2025-0188 is a medium-severity server-side request forgery vulnerability in gaizhenbiao/chuanhuchatgpt, published on 20 Mar 2025. Any signed-in user can exploit it over the network, with no action from the victim.
Exploitation: It is not confirmed as exploited in the wild, but public exploit code for CVE-2025-0188 exists.

Affected packages and fixed versions:
- chuanhuchatgpt (PyPI): affected all versions up to 20240914; no fix listed

Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.
5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.
