## What is CVE-2025-11007?

CVE-2025-11007 is a critical missing authorization vulnerability in ce21com CE21 Suite, published on 4 Nov 2025. An attacker can exploit it over the internet without logging in, with no action from the victim.

### Official description

The CE21 Suite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized plugin settings update due to a missing capability check on the wp_ajax_nopriv_ce21_single_sign_on_save_api_settings AJAX action in versions 2.2.1 to 2.3.1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update the plugin's API settings including a secret key used for authentication. This allows unauthenticated attackers to create new admin accounts on an affected site.

Weakness: CWE-306 (Missing Authentication for Critical Functionality)

Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
