What is CVE-2025-15647?
CVE-2025-15647 is a medium-severity memory corruption vulnerability in artem-ogre CDT, published on 5 Sep 2026. It can only be exploited from the same machine or local network, and only if a user opens a file or follows a link.
Official description
CDT before 1.4.5 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the opposedVertexInd() function when constraint edge intersections are computed in floating point and round outside adjacent triangles. Attackers can supply nearly-degenerate constraint edges through geometry data to trigger an out-of-bounds array access that crashes the calling process.
Weakness: CWE-125
Which versions are affected by CVE-2025-15647?
How do I fix CVE-2025-15647?
No fix has been published for CVE-2025-15647 yet. Limit exposure of the affected software until one is available.
Upgrade to the fixed version. Memory-safe languages, compiler hardening and fuzzing prevent most new cases. More about Memory corruption.
Is CVE-2025-15647 being exploited?
It is not confirmed as exploited in the wild, but public exploit code for CVE-2025-15647 exists.
