## What is CVE-2025-7365?

CVE-2025-7365 is a high-severity vulnerability in Redhat Keycloak, published on 10 Jul 2025. Any signed-in user can exploit it over the network, and only if a user opens a file or follows a link.

### Official description

A flaw was found in Keycloak. When an authenticated attacker attempts to merge accounts with another existing account during an identity provider (IdP) login, the attacker will subsequently be prompted to "review profile" information. This vulnerability allows the attacker to modify their email address to match that of a victim's account, triggering a verification email sent to the victim's email address. The attacker's email address is not present in the verification email content, making it a potential phishing opportunity. If the victim clicks the verification link, the attacker can gain access to the victim's account.

Weakness: CWE-346 (Origin Validation Error)

Check this codebase for CVE-2025-7365 and fix it if it is affected.

What it is: CVE-2025-7365 is a high-severity vulnerability in Redhat Keycloak, published on 10 Jul 2025. Any signed-in user can exploit it over the network, and only if a user opens a file or follows a link.
Exploitation: There is no known exploitation of CVE-2025-7365 in the wild and no public exploit code.

Affected packages and fixed versions:
- org.keycloak:keycloak-services (Maven): affected all versions; fixed in 26.0.13
- org.keycloak:keycloak-services (Maven): affected all versions; fixed in 26.0.13
- org.keycloak:keycloak-services (Maven): affected from 26.2.0; fixed in 26.2.6
- org.keycloak:keycloak-services (Maven): affected from 26.2.0; fixed in 26.2.6

Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.
5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.
