## What is CVE-2026-111212?

CVE-2026-111212 is a low-severity code injection vulnerability in ImprintLab Medical-SAM-Adapter, published on 16 Oct 2026. It can only be exploited from the same machine or local network, and only if a user opens a file or follows a link.

### Official description

A security flaw has been discovered in ImprintLab Medical-SAM-Adapter 0.1.0-alpha/0.1.0. Affected by this issue is the function session.get_modelmeta.custom_metadata_map of the file models/MobileSAMv2/ultralytics/nn/autobackend.py of the component AutoBackend Model Loading. The manipulation of the argument imgsz/names/kpt_shape results in improper neutralization of directives in dynamically evaluated code. The attack requires a local approach. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.

Weakness: CWE-95 (Improper Neutralization of Directives in Dynamically Evaluated Code), CWE-94 (Improper Control of Generation of Code)

Check this codebase for CVE-2026-111212 and fix it if it is affected.

What it is: CVE-2026-111212 is a low-severity code injection vulnerability in ImprintLab Medical-SAM-Adapter, published on 16 Oct 2026. It can only be exploited from the same machine or local network, and only if a user opens a file or follows a link.
Exploitation: It is not confirmed as exploited in the wild, but public exploit code for CVE-2026-111212 exists.

Affected product: ImprintLab Medical-SAM-Adapter. No package-level version data is available, so check the vendor advisory linked from the reference page.

Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.
5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.
