An attacker can exploit it over the internet without logging in, and only if a user opens a file or follows a link.\nExploitation: It is not confirmed as exploited in the wild, but public exploit code for CVE-2026-48012 exists.\n\nAffected packages and fixed versions:\n- shopware/platform (Packagist): affected from 6.7.3.0; fixed in 6.7.10.1\n- shopware/platform (Packagist): affected from 6.7.3.0; fixed in 6.7.10.1\n- shopware/core (Packagist): affected from 6.7.3.0; fixed in 6.7.10.1\n- shopware/core (Packagist): affected from 6.7.3.0; fixed in 6.7.10.1\n\nTask:\n1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.\n2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.\n3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.\n4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.\n5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.\n\nReference: https://insights.sbomify.com/CVE-2026-48012/ (Markdown: https://insights.sbomify.com/CVE-2026-48012/index.md)","id":"CVE-2026-48012","markdown":"https://insights.sbomify.com/CVE-2026-48012/index.md","name":"CVE-2026-48012","record":{"aliases":["GHSA-4x3x-869w-xx3m"],"analysis":{"component_type":"web_application","fix_type":"patch","impacts":["security_bypass"],"network_reachable":"yes","non_default_config":false,"product_category":"Shopware e-commerce platform","requires_auth":"none","summary":"An unauthenticated attacker can exploit an open redirect in Shopware's SSO endpoint by manipulating the Referer header, enabling phishing and redirect abuse.","user_interaction":"required","vuln_class":"open_redirect"},"analysis_generated_by":"qwen3.8-flash-next","assigner":"GitHub_M","cpe":[],"cvss":{"score":4.3,"severity":"medium","source":"cna","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","version":"3.1"},"cwes":[{"id":"CWE-601","name":"URL Redirection to Untrusted Site"}],"description":"Shopware is an open commerce platform. Versions 6.7.3.0 through 6.7.10.0 have an open redirect in Shopware's public SSO entry point at `GET /api/oauth/sso/auth`. When the endpoint is reached without the expected SSO session state, the application falls back to the request's `Referer` header and uses that value as the redirect destination. In the validated behavior, the server does not restrict that fallback target to same-origin URLs, does not require a relative path, and does not reject dangerous schemes such as `javascript:`. As a result, an unauthenticated request can turn this endpoint into a reusable redirect primitive whose destination is fully controlled by attacker-supplied request metadata. The security problem is not limited to a harmless navigation mismatch. The endpoint sits under `/api/oauth/`, which gives the redirect a trustworthy application-controlled origin and makes it suitable for phishing chains, branded redirect abuse, and cases where client software automatically follows redirects issued by a trusted host. The attached evidence also shows that the response is not only an HTTP `302` with a user-controlled `Location` header. The HTML body contains a matching meta refresh tag and redirect link built from the same attacker-controlled value. In the validated proof, the endpoint redirects to `https://attacker.example/poc` when that URL is supplied through `Referer`, and it also reflects `javascript:alert(1)` into `Location` and the HTML redirect body without any scheme filtering. This report therefore stays conservative and claims an open redirect with arbitrary redirect targets, while noting that the lack of scheme restrictions makes the behavior materially worse than a same-scheme external redirect. Version 6.7.10.1 fixes the issue.","ecosystems":["Packagist"],"exploits":{"exploitdb":0,"first_seen":null,"github_poc":0,"max_poc_stars":null,"metasploit":0,"nuclei":0,"refs":[],"tier":"weaponised"},"has_fix":true,"headline":"Shopware SSO referer trust leading to an arbitrary redirect target","id":"CVE-2026-48012","indexable":true,"kev":null,"kind":"cve","links":{"ecosystem":"Packagist","product":null,"products":[],"type":"open_redirect","year":"2026"},"n_packages":4,"n_references":2,"next":{"headline":"Shopware: SSRF in Media External-Link Endpoint Bypasses IP Validation","id":"CVE-2026-48013"},"packages":[{"ecosystem":"Packagist","fixed":["6.7.10.1"],"introduced":["6.7.3.0"],"last_affected":[],"package":"shopware/core","purl":null,"source":"GHSA-4x3x-869w-xx3m"},{"ecosystem":"Packagist","fixed":["6.7.10.1"],"introduced":["6.7.3.0"],"last_affected":[],"package":"shopware/core","purl":"pkg:composer/shopware/core","source":"GHSA-4x3x-869w-xx3m"},{"ecosystem":"Packagist","fixed":["6.7.10.1"],"introduced":["6.7.3.0"],"last_affected":[],"package":"shopware/platform","purl":null,"source":"GHSA-4x3x-869w-xx3m"},{"ecosystem":"Packagist","fixed":["6.7.10.1"],"introduced":["6.7.3.0"],"last_affected":[],"package":"shopware/platform","purl":"pkg:composer/shopware/platform","source":"GHSA-4x3x-869w-xx3m"}],"prev":{"headline":"Shopware: Timing-attack on admin panel allowing enumeration of administrator usernames","id":"CVE-2026-48011"},"products":["platform","shopware"],"published":"2026-07-23","related":[],"sources":[{"class":"attribution","licence":"CVE Terms of Use (MITRE)","name":"CVE List","prefix":"CVE"},{"class":"attribution","licence":"CC BY 4.0","name":"GitHub Advisory Database","prefix":"GHSA"},{"class":"attribution","licence":"CWE Terms of Use","name":"CWE (MITRE)"},{"class":"attribution","licence":"FIRST CVSS licence","name":"CVSS (FIRST)"}],"ssvc":{"automatable":"no","exploitation":"poc","technical_impact":"partial"},"state":"PUBLISHED","updated":"2026-07-24","vendors":["shopware"]},"summary":"An unauthenticated attacker can exploit an open redirect in Shopware's SSO endpoint by manipulating the Referer header, enabling phishing and redirect abuse.","url":"https://insights.sbomify.com/CVE-2026-48012/"}
