An attacker can exploit it over the internet without logging in, and only if a user opens a file or follows a link.
Exploitation: There is no known exploitation of CVE-2026-50556 in the wild and no public exploit code.

Affected packages and fixed versions:
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected all versions up to 18.2.14; no fix listed
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected all versions up to 18.2.14; no fix listed
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected from 19.0.0-next.0; fixed in 19.2.25
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected from 19.0.0-next.0; fixed in 19.2.25
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected from 20.0.0-next.0; fixed in 20.3.24
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected from 20.0.0-next.0; fixed in 20.3.24
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected from 21.0.0-next.0; fixed in 21.2.16
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected from 21.0.0-next.0; fixed in 21.2.16
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected from 22.0.0-next.0; fixed in 22.0.0-rc.2
- @angular/platform-server (npm): affected from 22.0.0-next.0; fixed in 22.0.0-rc.2

Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.
5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.

Reference: https://insights.sbomify.com/CVE-2026-50556/ (Markdown: https://insights.sbomify.com/CVE-2026-50556/index.md)
["DEBIAN-CVE-2026-50556","GHSA-gxx4-3xcv-f8qx","UBUNTU-CVE-2026-50556
["code_execution
An XSS vulnerability in Angular SSR allows attackers to execute arbitrary scripts by injecting unescaped closing tags into noscript elements.
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.16, 20.3.24, and 19.2.25, a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in @angular/platform-server's DOM emulation dependency (domino) when serializing the content of elements. When rendering dynamic text content inside a element via template bindings (such as {{ value }} or [textContent]), the template engine expects the browser to render the content safely. Under Server-Side Rendering (SSR), domino is configured with scripting enabled, meaning is treated as a raw-text element. However, domino's serializer completely omitted from the list of raw-text elements requiring closing-tag escaping during DOM serialization. As a result, any occurrence of in the bound dynamic text was never escaped under any circumstances. The unescaped closing tag was serialized directly into the output HTML (e.g. ). When parsed by a browser, it closes the block early, allowing the injected block to execute in the user's browser context, causing same-origin Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.16, 20.3.24, and 19.2.25.
npm
Angular: Missing `` Raw-Text Serialization Escaping leads to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in Angular SSR
["0
18.2.14
["0
18.2.14
["19.2.25
19.0.0-next.0
["19.2.25
19.0.0-next.0
["20.3.24
20.0.0-next.0
["20.3.24
20.0.0-next.0
["21.2.16
21.0.0-next.0
["21.2.16
21.0.0-next.0
["22.0.0-rc.2
22.0.0-next.0
["22.0.0-rc.2
22.0.0-next.0
@angular/platform-server: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')
CVE-2026-50555
angular
Angular: Cache-Key Ambiguity in HttpTransferCache Leading to Cross-Request Response Reuse and State Poisoning
Angular: Weak 32-Bit Cache Key Hashing in `HttpTransferCache` Leading to Cross-Request Data Leakage and State Poisoning
Angular: SSR XSS via Unescaped Processing Instruction (<?...?>) Nodes in Fallback Raw-Content Elements
["angular
An XSS vulnerability in Angular SSR allows attackers to execute arbitrary scripts by injecting unescaped closing tags into noscript elements.
https://insights.sbomify.com/CVE-2026-50556/"}
