### Official description

Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection'), Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability in Apache Kylin. Impact most to the kylin services that are directly exposed to public network, which is not common. In-house kylin deployments are mostly not impacted.

This issue affects Apache Kylin: from 5 through 5.0.4. Certain backend cache API misses required authentication and can cause execution of injected SQL.

Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.5, which fixes the issue.

Weakness: CWE-89 (Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command), CWE-306 (Missing Authentication for Critical Functionality)

Check this codebase for CVE-2026-64959 and fix it if it is affected.

What it is: CVE-2026-64959 is a critical SQL injection vulnerability in Apache Kylin, published on 16 Oct 2026. An attacker can exploit it over the internet without logging in, with no action from the victim.
Exploitation: There is no known exploitation of CVE-2026-64959 in the wild and no public exploit code.

Affected product: Apache Kylin. No package-level version data is available, so check the vendor advisory linked from the reference page.

Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.
5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.
