## What is CVE-2026-70386?

CVE-2026-70386 is a high-severity vulnerability in OnePlus OxygenOS, published on 21 Oct 2026.

### Official description

Improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command ('OS command injection') and Missing Authorization vulnerability in OnePlus OxygenOS on Android. Any locally installed Android application, with no permissions declared
and no user interaction beyond launching it, can execute arbitrary shell
commands as uid 0 in the u:r:dumpstate:s0 SELinux domain. Two defects
combine: (a) OnePlus's atlasservice binder interface accepts
setEvent(String8 name, String8 value) from any caller without
authorization, and (b) one event handler
(OplusAtlasLogWriter::handleEvent, matching event name
atlas_event_multimedia_audio_dumpsys) copies the caller-supplied value
into the system property oplus.audio.dumpinfo.type and starts the root
init service audiodumpinfo, which passes that property value unsanitized
to system(). This issue affects OxygenOS: from 16.1.0 before 16.1.10.500, from 16.0.0 before 16.0.5.1200, and from 15.0.0 before 15.0.0.2000.

Weakness: CWE-862 (Missing Authorization), CWE-78 (Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command)

Check this codebase for CVE-2026-70386 and fix it if it is affected.

What it is: CVE-2026-70386 is a high-severity vulnerability in OnePlus OxygenOS, published on 21 Oct 2026.
Exploitation: There is no known exploitation of CVE-2026-70386 in the wild and no public exploit code.

Affected product: OnePlus OxygenOS. No package-level version data is available, so check the vendor advisory linked from the reference page.

Task:
1. Search the dependency manifests and lockfiles (for example package.json, package-lock.json, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, uv.lock, pom.xml, build.gradle, go.mod, Cargo.lock, Gemfile.lock) and any Dockerfiles for the affected packages, including transitive dependencies.
2. If an affected version is in use, upgrade it to the fixed version for its release line with the project's package manager, so the lockfile is regenerated. Prefer the smallest upgrade that fixes it.
3. If there is no fix, or the upgrade would break the build, do not guess: explain the risk and the safest workaround instead.
4. Run the tests and summarise what changed and why.
5. If nothing in the project is affected, say so and change nothing.
