Task:
1. Search this repository's dependency manifests and lockfiles for the package, including transitive dependencies.
2. If it is present, remove it, regenerate the lockfile with the project's package manager, and replace whatever it was used for.
3. List any CI runners, developer machines or containers that installed it, so their secrets can be rotated.
4. If the package is not used anywhere, say so and change nothing.

What is MAL-2026-12432?
MAL-2026-12432 is a malicious package in runtime-sentinel, published on 5 Aug 2026.
Official description
The package's postinstall script (src/test.js) issues an HTTPS GET to https://workconfig.vercel.app with TLS certificate verification disabled (rejectUnauthorized: false), and passes the response body directly to
new Function('require', data)(require). This executes attacker-controlled code with full Node.js require access on the installer's machine at npm install time. The remote content is unpinned, unverified, and served from a mutable third-party host; whatever bytes the endpoint returns run on the installer. The package presents itself as a runtime monitoring toolkit and ships generic placeholder author metadata (Your Name), which does not match the postinstall behavior. What should I do about MAL-2026-12432?
Remove the package from your dependencies and lockfiles, then rotate any secrets on machines where it was installed.
