What is MAL-2026-13668?
MAL-2026-13668 is a malicious package in @lambda-platform/lambda-vue, published on 7 Aug 2026.
Official description
No static or traced-code signals of exfiltration, install-time remote code execution, silent-relay, credential distribution, backdoor, or self-propagation were identified in this package version. No lifecycle-script network fetch, no reads of installer secret paths, and no hardcoded attacker-controlled destinations were observed across the scanned files.
Any computer that has this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised. All secrets and keys stored on that computer should be rotated immediately from a different computer. The package should be removed, but as full control of the computer may have been given to an outside entity, there is no guarantee that removing the package will remove all malicious software resulting from installing it.
What should I do about MAL-2026-13668?
Remove the package from your dependencies and lockfiles, then rotate any secrets on machines where it was installed.
