Task:
1. Search this repository's dependency manifests and lockfiles for the package, including transitive dependencies.
2. If it is present, remove it, regenerate the lockfile with the project's package manager, and replace whatever it was used for.
3. List any CI runners, developer machines or containers that installed it, so their secrets can be rotated.
4. If the package is not used anywhere, say so and change nothing.

What is MAL-2026-16074?
MAL-2026-16074 is a malicious package in easypanel-deploy, published on 9 Sep 2026.
Official description
The package's preinstall lifecycle script runs automatically on
npm install and collects installer-side identifiers — os.hostname(), os.userInfo().username, the current working directory, and CI-related environment variable names — base64url-encodes them, and sends them to a hardcoded third-party out-of-band collector under oob.lyomeri.com via both a DNS lookup (easypanel-deploy.<chunk>daco3v4q6f49egu1ds1gwjnsjb88s5kcp.oob.lyomeri.com) and an HTTP GET request to the same host. The behavior fires without user consent on install, exfiltrates host reconnaissance data to an attacker-controlled endpoint, and is consistent with a dependency-confusion / beacon package. An in-source comment labeling this as a 'benign canary' does not change the observable behavior. What should I do about MAL-2026-16074?
Remove the package from your dependencies and lockfiles, then rotate any secrets on machines where it was installed.
