MAL-2026-18140 Malicious code in grommatts (PyPI)

The package contains no detected install-time network activity, no credential or filesystem harvesting, no shell execution of fetched content, and no lifecycle hooks performing outbound I/O. No attacker-controlled destinations, no reads of installer secret paths, and no persistence mechanisms are present in the shipped source.

This campaign consists of similar loader packages, which provide executing code from a given URL. While they do not contain the malicious payload and the usage remains unknown, they are clearly a coordinated campaign to place multiple deceptive ways to load malicious code.
