MAL-2026-18152 Malicious code in acousticpack (PyPI)

Analysis of acousticpack 0.1.0 (pypi) across 10 files produced no indicators of credential access, outbound exfiltration, install-time or import-time code execution from remote sources, silent relay, backdoor channels, or filesystem destruction. No lifecycle or build-backend network activity was identified, and no suspicious code patterns were observed in the package contents.

This campaign consists of similar loader packages, which provide executing code from a given URL. While they do not contain the malicious payload and the usage remains unknown, they are clearly a coordinated campaign to place multiple deceptive ways to load malicious code.
