What is MAL-2026-18154?
MAL-2026-18154 is a malicious package in pipegrip, published on 22 Oct 2026.
Official description
pipegrip 0.1.0 ships a small Python package with no observed install-time or import-time network activity, no credential or filesystem secret reads, no subprocess execution of fetched content, and no lifecycle hooks performing privileged actions. No exfiltration, dropper, silent-relay, backdoor, or self-propagation mechanism is present in the artifact.
This campaign consists of similar loader packages, which provide executing code from a given URL. While they do not contain the malicious payload and the usage remains unknown, they are clearly a coordinated campaign to place multiple deceptive ways to load malicious code.
Category: MALICIOUS - The campaign has clearly malicious intent, like infostealers.
Campaign: 2026-10-voice-synthesis-profiles
