MAL-2026-18158 Malicious code in audiokit (PyPI)

The package audiokit version 0.1.0 was scanned and no install-time network activity, credential access, dropper behavior, silent-relay mechanism, backdoor, or other installer-targeted harmful code paths were identified. No lifecycle hooks or import-time side effects of concern were observed.

This campaign consists of similar loader packages, which provide executing code from a given URL. While they do not contain the malicious payload and the usage remains unknown, they are clearly a coordinated campaign to place multiple deceptive ways to load malicious code.
