MAL-2026-18226 Malicious code in ferretqueue (PyPI)

The package ferretqueue 0.1.0 contains no observed install-time network activity, no lifecycle code that fetches or executes remote content, no reads of installer credential paths, and no outbound data flows to third-party destinations. No credential-distribution, silent-relay, backdoor, or self-propagation mechanisms were identified in the shipped files.

This campaign consists of similar loader packages, which provide executing code from a given URL. While they do not contain the malicious payload and the usage remains unknown, they are clearly a coordinated campaign to place multiple deceptive ways to load malicious code.
